The FRÖHA (derived from the name of the founder FRÖmter HAns) Company was founded in 1935 in Hipoltstein, Germany by Hans Frömter and mainly produced figurines, but later also cars.
Plastic body with solid windows and fair details of front and rear hood, door seams and rear oval window with air louvers. No chassis and the black, white, red or yellow plastic axles and white wheels are mounted to the body pillars. This small oval beetle was sold by FRÖHA in plastic pouches mixed with different other makes of cars. The FRÖHA oval VW was furthermore used as a game piece for several board games. One of them was issued by the German ADAC in 1970 and was aimed at children to teach them traffic regulations.
