IMAP of Argentina produced this Oval VW that is a very large plastic body with cut out windows and good details of front and rear hood, door seams and rear oval window with air louvers. Clear plastic windshield insert, plastic seats and steering wheel. Front and rear plastic bumpers are painted silver and are attached to the body. Plastic chassis with rubber tires, hub caps with VW emblem and there are two large round cylinders for the 4 “C” type batteries. Body is attached to the chassis with four screws in the corner of the running boards. Remote control unit for driving the VW (the one shown in the photos is missing the remote control unit). Original box has a Bernd Reuters VW style drawing. No markings and the chassis is similar to the PINPLAST Oval VW.
