This size LIRA Oval VW was produced in 2 versions. These V1 & V2 versions were most probably a copy of the Märklin Oval VW.
One piece plastic body with cut out windows, metal axles and good details of front and rear hood, door seams and rear oval window. The tin chassis has two seam lines running the length of the chassis for strength. This LIRA V1 has a flywheel motor. There are no markings.
Version V1: shiny plastic body with cut out windows, metal axles, with rubber tires, painted bumpers, headlights, and a flywheel motor inside. Version V1 exist in 2 variations.
V1 Variation 1 is where the tinplate chassis is held in place with small chassis tabs bent up and over the bumpers. White wheels.
V1 Variation 2 is where the tinplate chassis is held in place with 2 small screws. Black wheels.
