Plastic body with cut out windows and nice details of front and rear hood, door seams and rear oval window with air louvers. Plastic interior with people inside (females and in later versions men with caps). Plastic chassis with friction motor (although a keyhole without function is present), wheels and metal bumpers (later versions had US style bumpers)). Also a version without people nside and without bumpers exists. This version had the front lights indicated by silver paint. White plastic rims with or without VW logo. The headlights consisted of gold colored decals. Produced in Karl-Marx Stadt, former East Germany by Emil G. Lorenz KG and seldom found. Sold in the German Democratic Republik for 5,55 Marks! There are similarities between the LORENZ and the Bulgarian LEHA VW, who used the LORENZ oval as an example to produce the LEHA oval.
