A porcelain ashtray in the shape of an Oval Window Volkswagen Sedan. These were given as a promotional item by many of the driving schools and auto dealers in Holland during the late 50s and early 60s. The name of the driving school and auto dealers, address, phone numbers and the rear oval window were painted on the VWs with either black, blue or green ink. The top of the VW is open and there are two holders for laying a cigarette on the ash tray. Bottom stamped S.S.S. RECLAME, BERKEL Z.H. TEL K 1891-2259 which is the advertising agency who designed, but not produced the ashtray.
