A porcelain ashtray in the shape of an Oval Window Volkswagen Sedan. These were given as a promotional item by many of the driving schools and auto dealers in Holland during the late 50s and early 60s. The name of the driving school and auto dealers, address, phone numbers and the rear oval window were painted on the VWs with black ink. The top of the VW is open and there one holder for laying a cigarette on the ash tray. Note the green four leaf clover on the back: would that be needed with that particular driving school?
