This version of the JGES MEIN KdF WAGEN is basically the same as the regular version with the exception that it features six Kommandeurwagens or Commander Cars for the different organizations within Germany of that time period. These organizations are listed on the box cover.
SS = Waffen SS
WH = Regular Army
WL = Luftwaffe (Airforce)
WM =Marine (Navy)
POL = Police
DR = Deutsche Reichsbahn (German Railroads)
The JGES KdF Kommandeurwagen was black and had a flag as part of the drivers fender. The flag had an insignia of the organization it represented. The front and rear bumpers had license plate numbers such as SS-1, WH-1, WL-1, WM-1, POL-1 or DR-1. There was a dab of white paint for the headlights and red paint for the taillights.
A single JGES Kommandeurwagen was included in a special box. The Kommandeurwagen is mounted on a black square Bakelite base with lettering stating Modell, KdF Wagen Typ 87,< Kommandeurwagen >, PH/14-3.42 and the Phenoplast logo. The box contained the message "Unverkaufliches Muster", which means SAMPLE, NOT FOR SALE.
The box had a message to the toy shop owners who received these boxes for review only. They were asked to send the boxes back to JGES after 10-14 days, so that these boxes could be send to other potential clients also. JGES also indicated that these show boxes represented a substantial value for JGES.
