A mini Volkswagen build by the Munich VW-Service MAHAG in August 1950. To get into the car, one needed to lift the roof. Inside the car there was room for 1 person. The steering wheel and the VW emblem on the hood are original VW split window beetle. All other parts were manufactured by MAHAG from scratch. The car was meant for PR purposes to please potential buyers and their children in the salesroom. The car looked like a 1949 export split beetle and featured a 4 hp 125 ccm NSU motor in the back. This mini VW was 2550 mm long and 1000 mm wide. It weights about 70 kilogram.

The pictures are from a photo shoot for Ninoflex, a line of children's clothing. MAHAG in Munich was the location of the shoot.

The model still exists and is still owned by MAHAG. Unfortunatley, this model suffered the same faith as many old beetles... it was modernised during the years to reflect the VW model changes. The split rear window is now a large window, the NSU motor has been replaced by an electromotor, the bumpers are replaced by a newer looking version, trafficators on the fenders and the body has been repainted in white. All chrome parts have been painted black instead of being rechromed.
