The firm of HANS SCHUMANN (HS), based in Zirndorf, Germany, existed between 1887 and 1973. They produced tin penny toys, like musical instruments, but also cars.

They manufactured two VW Busses with a different lithograph design, which are extremely rare.  Made of tinplate, with rubber wheels. Remarkably, the front wheels are pretty accurately scaled, whereas the rear wheels are quite big.

One of the busses was a SHELL RENNDIENST car (SHELL RACE SERVICE) with license plate HS-515 and the other was a regular Kombiwagen with license plate HS-514.
