Steiff vw transporter

On a recent search for vw toys I came across your site which is full of great information. the reason for the search was to come up with a value of a mint Steiff vw transporter truck that I have just found.
I have collected toys for over 40 years my main interest being Dinky toys and tin plate I own 12 Citroen factory models from the 1930s

To answer your question, how mint is mint? Are there any cracks or scratches in the body? Is the wooden chassis perfect? Does it have the Steiff stickers? Does it have the original box? What condition is the box?

Mint in box examples can go from about $400 and up.

Here's mine. It has a crack in the nose, but is otherwise in good shape. Probably a $175 to $200 truck.

I like to find cargo for the trucks. I think it adds interest to the toys. Plus they're working vehicles.
