Here is a HO scale Karmann Ghia slot car by Marusan of Japan. Made in the 1960s and rather rare. The last photo shows both the Marusan and the Estrela Karmann Ghia side by side.

Wow! It's a Type 34 Ghia!

I've never seen either of those before. Thanks for posting. This is what happens when you narrow your focus to just collecting slotcars.

My HO slotcar holy grail is a Riggen Beetle from the early '70s.
