Bandai VW was created by bernard

Here is 1 of the rarest VW bugs made. Its a 1/36th scale VW slot car by Bandai. Even though it was shown in the Bandai catalog we thought it was never made. I saw this in a Bandai set on a foreign site. I was shocked and even though the set was way over priced I bought it anyway. This is a car I have been looking for for decades. I know of no others that exist. Yes,its ugly and perhaps that's why it is so rare.

Interesting . . this VW is made by TOKYO PLAYTHINGS SHOKAI T.P.S. as you can see the logo on the chassis . . .
