Industria Nazionale Gioccatoli Automatici, Padova (INGAP) founded in 1922, Italy, produced this Oval Window VW from injection plastic mold process. The plastic body with cut out windows and fair details of front and rear hood, door seams and rear oval window with air louvers. Chassis molded in plastic with plastic wheels. VW was part of a 12 cars automobile set. OK, it is easy to spot the Volkswagen Sedan in the set. But what about the other cars from the early 60s. What are they? No problem as the INGAP cars have molded in the chassis a number that corresponds to the listing below. The newer version box set only contained 10 cars. Most of the INGAP Oval VWs have the plastic body painted several different colors but there are also the body found not painted with the plastic molded color. Also, there appears tow variations of the INGAP Oval VW Sedan. Variation 1 has recessed headlights and taillights and is the most common found. Variation 2 has raised headlights, taillights and a larger oval window in the rear body and is seldom found.
