Plastic body with solid windows and details of the front and rear hood, doors and headlights. No chassis and the plastic wheels are part of the body. There is a round mold mark under the front hood and a round mark where the VW front hood emblem is mounted.

The moulds of these models seem also to have been used for a Monopol (Monopoly) board game by a Norvegian publishing house, called DAMM.

N.W. Damm & Søn ("N.W. Damm and son") or Damm for short, was established on 4 December 1843 by Niels Wilhelm Damm in Oslo (Norway). It got its name when Damm's son, Harald Christian Damm was taken on board as a co-owner. The company still exists in Norway and after some mergers it is called: Cappelen Damm.

The VW splitwindow beetle gamepieces are an exact copy of the original, although the plastic material was considerably thicker and heavier than the original. The dimensions of the box are 17.2 cm x 20.2 cm x 3.2 cm  and the dimensions of the game board are 49.5 cm x 48.7 cm.
