This version 4 had a completely renewed body with integrated split beetle dashboard and renewed chassis.
The material is considerably thinner than earlier versions.
The body (#L-B) came with the VW sign on the hood and with a wider license plate at the engine lid .
The chassis (#2a) had rolling axles, but had no WM logo on the baseplate. The chassis colour was always anthracite
The engine (#2a) was partly hollow (again).
The steering wheel (#3) featured 2 spokes
The tires (#2a) were also completely redesigned with separate looking wheels and rims.
The seats (#2) have holes and are attached to the chassis on pins protruding from the chassis.
The gas tank (#2a) was also new.
The chassis (#2a) had also a luggage rack incorporated on the chassis
The body colours came in black, blue, light and dark green
