GEORG BRÖHM Spielwarenfabrik was founded in the late 1950’s in Vielbrunn, Germany. They carried the brand name VIEBROFLEX and produced many different soft plastic toys, like planes, trucks, boats, figurines, etc until the mid-1970s. They seem to have used molds from and/or shared with various other manufacturers of cheap soft plastic toys. Identical models were, among others, sold by LOUIS MARX, USA and TUDOR ROSE, England.

The molds for this VW Bus were most probably acquired from TUDOR ROSE. It is a multi-coloured soft plastic body with cut out windows. All doors and rear lid can be opened. The chassis is part of the bottom part of the body and bumpers are moulded into the body. VW emblem at front part is snapped onto the body. The license plates are marked ERB-A 748. With an original driver figure at the wheel; the dimensions of the driver doesn’t seem to fit the dimensions of the model. Crude plastic wheels snap into the body. Please note that the colored bus in the pictures is missing several doors! The models are either unmarked or have a sticker on them with VIEBROFLEX. There also exists a plain white version of the model.
