MASUDAYA, founded in 1928, Japan, was the manufacturer of this Volkswagen Bus toy. It was a better idea after the post war period to market the Japanese MASUDAYA toys in the USA under the trade mark name of MODERN TOYS.
Tin lithographed VW Bus with various airline themes such as LUFTHANSA, ALITALIA, SWISS AIR, KLM, SAS. Polizei and Ambulance version were also produced. All versions were battery operated with a cable remote control unit.
