I have been making decals for many years for the Vintage VW Restor-Version projects I have created. Taking it one step further, it was easy to make the artwork larger to create some metal signs as well. Some of the artwork uses the older VW literature as a guide and some of the artwork is created or remastered from scratch. I use Corel PaintShop Pro X9 and MS Visio Pro 2016 to create the graphics and a Xerox Phaser 6510 color laser printer to print the water transfer decals. I acquire the metal signs at a local hobby store, paint them and then apply the custom decals. Most of the signs made are used for display in my “Man Cave” hobby room or special project for other friends. Please check them out !!
