The BANDAI VW Bus was taken apart, sand blasted, body repairs done and painted. The small tin parts were cleaned, painted or polished. The friction motor and tires were made like new. Using a graphics program, decal paper and a color laser printer, the decals were made for the project. After the body was painted, the decals were applied, and a clear coat of paint was used to protect them.
