The KdF Wagen (Volkswagen Beetle as we know it today) would be present at the 1939
Berlin International Automobile and Motorcycle show (Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung, IAA)
held on February 17 thru March 5. The KdF Wagens or “Peoples Car” were the big attraction
and centerpiece of all the show exhibitions with 25 of the KdF Wagens present inside and
outside displayed for public viewing.
