In the early part of 1939, MÄRKLIN released two scale versions of the popular KdF Wagen. One was 1/43 scale (110mm in length) and was actually part of a set or series of several different vehicles of that time and the other was a smaller 1/70 scale (57mm in length) for train layouts.
