This Bandai Fire Department Bus was found abandoned in a barn and had been parked there for some time, after surviving some heavy duty play time, wear and damp winter weather conditions. Actually, the best thing this Bandai VW Bus has going for itself, a “Diamond in the Rough,” is that it is complete, not missing any original parts! I had the vision of making this VW Bus into a German ADAC roadside assistance vehicle and I was ready to get started.
